Flash Obscura - The projection of interactive ideas through the Flash aperture

Flash Obscura the blog was setup by Gerald Yeo for the purpose of collating the vast amount of information, tips and tricks, tutorials and what-have-you’s about Flash, ActionScript, and whatever technologies it interfaces with.

Gerald Yeo has been a flash developer in Singapore for the past five years in the advertising industry. He has been using Flash for the past six years, before that Director and Authorware (oh the horror!). His interests lie in object-oriented programming in ActionScript, as well as mobile Flash Lite applications, interactive environments and installations. He would be delighted if there are opportunities for him in doing immersive interactive installations

Gerald Yeo does not proclaim to be a rockstar in Flash and ActionScript; rather he would like this blog to be a good source and exchange of ideas, frameworks, logic, and whatever that helps people to learn. Gerald would like to give back to the online Flash community as much as possible because he has benefited tremendously from it. It is also for his benefit of increasing his understanding through the exchange of ideas.

Of course, any stuff written here are Gerald’s own views, and do not represent the company(s) he has/is/will worked/working/work for. He will now stop because he finds it weird writing in 3rd person
